Instructions to register for an AYSO Referee training course
1.You must register as a volunteer every year. Go to the "Register Now" button in the top right corner of this window and log in with your account.
2. After completing your volunteer registration, to sign up for in-person or online training use the new etrainu learning management system as follows:
- og into your account and click on the "Volunteer" tab.
- Click the "AYSOU" button.
- It will bring you to the etrainu platform.
- Go to "Training Library" and search for referee training courses.
- Click appropriate link for "Regional Referee" course.
Make sure you select the right date and course location you are looking for! Pay attention to the course location and start time.
Prerequisites:
- Regional Referee candidates should be at least 12 years old or turning 12 this season or calendar year (you can still be an 8U Official if you are at least 10 years old or turning 10 this year).
- ALL candidates MUST COMPLETE the following online courses BEFORE attending the classroom session!!! (bring proof of completion to class - print out or screen-shot certificate of completion at end)
- Safe Haven - click on “Online Courses” from the main etrainu page and select “AYSO’s Safe Haven”
- Concussion Awareness - click on “Online Courses” from the main etrainu and select “CDC: Concussion Course”
- Laws of the Game - or click on “Online Courses” from the main etrainu page and select “AYSO’s Summary of the Laws of the Game”
- Regional Referee Online -or click on “Online Courses” from the main etrainu page and select “Regional Referee Training”
